The Gaggenau Kitchen of the Year Design Contest highlights outstanding kitchen designs from across Australia and New Zealand, emphasizing their role as the heart of the home, where materials, functionality, and technology converge. Since its inception in 2020, the contest has shone a spotlight on the best in kitchen design. With each edition, the calibre of work grows ever more remarkable, and so too does our admiration for the vision, the craftsmanship and the artistry that define these kitchens.

Gaggenau launched the inaugural Kitchen of the Year Design Contest in October 2020, with the aim to uncover projects that are the centre of life, each bringing materiality, function and technology to the fore.
